In the memory of Mrs. Lakshmi Devi Sahni W/O Sh.Hari Chand Sahni, L.D.S. has been established as a Pioneer in education. Mrs. Lakshmi Devi Sahni was a visionary, with an ability to change and evolve with the changing time. A salute to the lady who inspired this institution for offering complete and holistic development.
Founded in 2012
Lakshmi Devi (Sahni) School is located in Batala, Gurdaspur. There are 30 dedicated and professional faculty members who impart quality education to children in this other board school.
2012 saw Lakshmi Devi (Sahni) School being launched. The primary medium of instruction is English and the student teacher ratio is 25:1. The school takes pride of its excellent teaching methodology.
Classes from 1st to 10th run in this school. The current student strength of the school is approximately 542: 3048 books are there in the library of this school.
The school has given exceptional results in the academic sphere and its students have excelled in extra co-curricular activities too. 100% qualify examination with 100% scoring first grade.
